Japan Post to end mail service at 1,048 post offices
TOKYO, Japan - Japan Post President Masaharu Ikuta speaks at a press conference at his office in Tokyo on June 28. He said Japan Post plans to end mail sorting and delivery business at 1,048 post offices as part of its privatization process starting in October 2007.
