Pro-Seoul Korean group goes back on reconciliation with pro-Pyongyang group
TOKYO, Japan - Ha Byeong Ok, president of Mindan, the pro-Seoul Korean residents group in Japan, reads a statement during his press conference at the Mindan headquarters in Tokyo's Minami-Azabu district on July 6. Ha announced the withdrawal of a joint reconciliation statement it signed in May with Chongryon, its pro-Pyongyang counterpart, citing North Korea's missile launches as the reason.
