Heavy rains hit wide areas, mudslide, train derailment reported

MATSUE, Japan - A two-car train on the Kita-Matsue Line operated by Ichibata Electric Railway Co. derailed near Nagae Station in Matsue, Shimane Prefecture, on July 17 after it ran into mud on the tracks as heavy rains drenched a wide area of Japan.
