Japanese to serve as PR head for Bach Archive Foundation

BERLIN, Germany - Akio Takano, 45, who was appointed head of the public relations department of the Bach Archive Foundation, holds a brochure of a Bach music festival in Berlin on Aug. 22. Takano is the first non-German person to assume the post of the foundation, which researches and manages the work of German composer Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750).
