Security agency raids AUM facilities across Japan

TOKYO, Japan - Public Security Intelligence Agency officers walk to an AUM Shinrikyo cult facility in Tokyo's Setagaya Ward on Sept. 16 for inspections after its founder Shoko Asahara's death sentence was finalized the day before. The agency raided 24 other SUM facilities on the same day. The inspections are based on a law to place groups judged dangerous under state surveillance.
