Shinjo calling it quits but promising more surprises

SAPPORO, Japan - Tsuyoshi Shinjo, whose playing career in baseball finished triumphantly with the Nippon Ham Fighters' Japan Series success, is about to leave Sapporo Dome after his farewell press conference on Oct. 27. ''I'm not going to slip into a baseball uniform any more but I'm always going be Tsuyoshi Shinjo. I want to involve myself in a number of things and keep bringing people big surprises,'' Shinjo said.
