Toyota posts record 1st-half sales, net profit

NAGOYA, Japan - Toyota Motor Corp. Vice President Mitsuo Konishita speaks at a press conference in Nagoya on Nov. 7. The automaker reported its biggest-ever group net profit and sales for the April-September period, led by a weaker yen and strong demand for its fuel-efficient vehicles in the United States and Europe.

SoftBank Group April-Sept. net profit plunges over 80%
