Yamaha Motor execs face arrest over chopper export to China

NAGOYA, Japan - The head office of Yamaha Motor Co. in Iwata, Shizuoka Prefecture. Three Yamaha officials face arrest on Feb. 23 on suspicion of attempting to export without authorization an unmanned helicopter to China that authorities say can be converted for military use.

        NAGOYA, Japan - Stacks of child pornographic DVDs confiscated in Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture are on display at Toyota police station in Toyota, Aichi Prefecture on June 15. According to the police, 15,000 child porno DVDS from seized from a Sendai mansion in what officials believe to be the single largest DVD seizure from one location. Three men were arrested in Sendai on suspicion of selling 44 child porno DVDs to two men in Aichi in December for 20,500 yen. The three suspects have allegedly been selling child porno DVDs online since August 2005, netting more than 100 million yen, police say.
