Japan appoints new envoy in charge of Japan-N. Korea normalization
TOKYO, Japan - An undated file photo shows Yoshiki Mine, envoy dealing with aid to Afghanistan, who was appointed on March 30 as Japan's new ambassador in charge of normalization talks with North Korea. Mine, 63, will replace Koichi Haraguchi, who represented Japan in normalization talks in Hanoi early in March.
