Toshiba to offer 2 high-end HD DVD recorders at less expensive price

TOKYO, Japan - A publicity assistant shows off one of two high-end digital video recorders with HD DVD-format recordable drives which Toshiba Corp. will put on the domestic market during a press conference in Tokyo on June 12. The two additions to Toshiba's Vardia family of DVD recorders are each capable of recording two digital HD television programs simultaneously.
