                  CHIBA, Japan - Three types of metal bracelet which a Tokyo health appliances company allegedly sold by claiming they help blood flow have no health benefits, police say. Chiba police on Nov. 6 arrested Minoru Kajimoto, the company's president, and six former employees on suspicion of swindling 18 people out of 6.8 million yen by selling them the bracelets. The police believe the company took in some 2.45 billion yen by selling the bracelets to roughly 8,200 people in 40 prefectures from January 2004 to April this year.                       Ex-Itochu chairman Sejima dies at 95

                      TOKYO, Japan - Ryuzo Sejima (file photo taken in 1997), an Imperial Headquarters staffer-turned-Itochu Corp. chairman, died of old age on Sept. 4 at his Tokyo home. He was 95. While Itochu chairman, Sejima played a major role in privatizing Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Public Corp. and the Japan National Railways as a member of the government's commission on administrative reform. He was also known for his close ties with former Prime Minister Yasuhiro Nakasone.
