Asashoryu has inflamed ankle, may have to skip Jan. sumo meet
TOKYO, Japan - File photo of Mongolian grand champion Asashoryu, who was diagnosed Dec. 6 with an inflammation in his right ankle. Doctors say the condition requires about four weeks to heal, making his appearance in the New Year meet uncertain.
