Free agent Wada agrees on 3-year deal with Chunichi

TOKYO, Japan - Free agent outfielder Kazuhiro Wada speaks to reporters in Tokyo on Nov. 9 after signing a three-year contract with the Chunichi Dragons. Wada, 35, who played the last 11 seasons for the Seibu Lions, joined Seibu in 1997 and led the Pacific League with a .322 batting average and 153 hits in 2005. He has hit .317 lifetime with 177 homers and 543 RBIs in 958 games.
