Fujii signs 1-year contract with Yomiuri Giants

TOKYO, Japan - Free agent left-hander Shugo Fujii poses in his new Yomiuri Giants uniform during a press conference in Tokyo on Dec. 8, 2009, after signing a one-year contract worth 60 million yen plus performance bonuses with the Central League baseball club. Fujii had a 7-5 record with a 3.53 ERA in 22 games for the Pacific League baseball team Nippon Ham Fighters last season.
