Family of crown prince meets emperor, empress

TOKYO, Japan - Crown Prince Naruhito (R), Crown Princess Masako (C) and their daughter Princess Aiko (L) visit the Imperial Palace to meet Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko on April 6. (pool photo). The number of visits by the family to the Imperial Palace has increased since Imperial Household Agency chief Shingo Haketa expressed hope in late February that the crown prince and his family would visit his parents, Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko, at their palace more often.
