Honda poised to compete with Toyota in hybrid vehicles

TOKYO, Japan - Honda Motor Co. President Takeo Fukui speaks to a group of reporters in Tokyo on May 22. Fukui expressed his readiness Thursday to compete with bigger rival Toyota Motor Corp. in marketing eco-friendly vehicles such as gasoline-electric hybrid cars.
