Sony to recall 440,000 VAIO TZ laptops worldwide

TOKYO, Japan - Sony Corp. will recall about 440,000 VAIO TZ series of laptop computers (file photo) from around the world for free repairs of defects that could cause overheating, the company said on Sept. 4. According to Sony, seven people at home and abroad have sustained burns due to overheating.
