Police raid Asai over tainted rice sale
NAGOYA, Japan - Toshinori Asai (R), president of Nagoya-based glue maker Asai, accompanied by police, leaves his home in Nagoya Oct. 10 as police began searching several locations related to his company to build a criminal case against him on suspicion of selling tainted rice to a wholesaler knowing it would be later resold as food.
