Court grants S. Korean woman A-bomb health passbook
NAGASAKI, Japan - Kang Sok Chong (3rd from L), 69-year-old son of Chong Nam Su, 88, rejoices at a Nagasaki District Court ruling on Nov. 10. The court ordered the state and the Nagasaki prefectural government to give the South Korean woman an atomic-bomb sufferer's health passbook and associated benefits, declaring illegal the prefecture's earlier refusal to issue it to her under an old rule.
