Japan culture promotion body launched in Brazil

RIO DE JANEIRO, Brazil - Members of the Instituto Japao Pop Br, or the J-pop Brazil association, pose at an inaugural ceremony in Rio de Janeiro May 28. The organization, launched by Brazilian student groups, is aimed at promoting contemporary Japanese culture, such as J-pop, ''manga'' comics and anime.
