JR East puts new Shinkansen cars on press viewing

SENDAI, Japan - Photo shows seats in ordinary train cars (L) and those in green cars in new bullet train cars scheduled to run on the Tohoku Shinkansen line at the end of fiscal 2010 at 320 kilometers an hour, the fastest in Japan. East Japan Railway Co. displayed the new cars for press viewing in Miyagi Prefecture on June 17.
