New Komeito chief Ota hints at resigning after election loss
TOKYO, Japan - Akihiro Ota, chief representative of the New Komeito party, speaks at a news conference at the party's headquarters in Tokyo on Aug. 31. Ota hinted that he would step down from his post after the party's crushing setback in the Aug. 30 general election.
