Old Yamanote Line train replica marks line's centennial

TOKYO, Japan - A replica of an old train on the Yamanote Line arrives at JR Yurakucho Station in Tokyo on Sept. 7, 2009, as East Japan Railway Co. began running it to commemorate the centennial of naming the Tokyo line. The dark brown train, which resembles the type of train used until around 50 years ago, will run on the Yamanote Line through Dec. 4.
