Early-morning subway accident disrupts Tokyo commute
TOKYO, Japan - Commuters stand in long lines waiting for buses during the rush-hour on Sept. 9, 2009, outside Kasai-Nishi Station on the Tokyo Metro Co.'s Tozai Line after the commute in and around the Tokyo downtown area was disrupted by an accident at a station on the line. A railway maintenance train bumped into an unoccupied passenger train at 4:08 a.m. at Toyocho Station where the 10-car train was parked ahead of its service, but no one was injured in the collision.
