Ontario sees Toyota's quality control as inspiring GM recovery
TORONTO, Canada - File photo shows Sandra Pupatello, minister for economic development and trade of the Canadian province of Ontario. Pupatello said in a recent interview with Kyodo News that the province will be able to start selling the shares it holds in General Motors Co. by next year, thanks to a turnaround in the economy and Toyota Motor Corp.'s ''kaizen'' quality improvement approach, which is inspiring the North American auto industry.
