Vancouver officially opens Olympic Line Streetcar

VANCOUVER, Canada - Streetcars on the Olympic Line run through Vancouver on Jan. 21, 2010, as the city starts operating the 1.8-kilometer line between the Olympic Village Canada Line Station to Granville Island. The line, which is expected to reduce traffic jams, will provide free rides from January 21 to March 21.
