ANA, AirAsia to set up joint budget airline

TOKYO, Japan - Shinichiro Ito, president of All Nippon Airways Co., speaks at a press conference in a Tokyo hotel on July 21, 2011, announcing that the Japanese airline and AirAsia Bhd. of Malaysia will establish AirAsia Japan Co., a joint budget airline that will begin domestic and international flights from Narita airport near Tokyo by August 2012.
