Japanese universities consider big change to academic year

Results released Jan. 25, 2012, of a Kyodo News survey showed more than 40 percent of Japan's national universities, as well as many of the country's top private universities, will consider following the University of Tokyo's lead in switching to start their academic year in the autumn.
