KYOTO, Japan - Masaharu Komori, associate professor of mechanical engineering at Kyoto University, on March 22, 2012 in Kyoto operates the Permoveh, a prototype vehicle he developed. Permoveh, or Personal Mobile Vehicle, can move back and forth, from side to side, or obliquely as it uses omnidirectional wheels.
