Mariners pitcher Iwakuma in Tokyo for season-opening series

TOKYO, Japan - Seattle Mariners pitcher Hisashi Iwakuma (C) smiles with manager Eric Wedge (L) and pitcher Felix Hernandez of his major league team at a press conference in Tokyo on March 24, 2012, ahead of their season-opening series against the Oakland Athletics at Tokyo Dome on March 28 and 29. Iwakuma joined Seattle from the Rakuten Eagles, a ballclub based in the northeastern city of Sendai hit hard by the March 2011 earthquake and tsunami, after the 2011 season.
