New robot for work at Fukushima complex
CHIBA, Japan - A robot dedicated for work at nuclear plants climbs up the stairs carrying a 60-kilogram weight at the Chiba Institute of Technology in Narashino, Chiba Prefecture, on July 12, 2012. The school unveiled the state-of-the-art robot nicknamed "Rosemary," which is designed to perform tasks inside the highly contaminated reactor buildings at the stricken Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant possibly from August.
