Family owning Senkaku Islands
TOKYO, Japan - Hiroyuki Kurihara, whose siblings own four of the five main islands of Senkaku in the East China Sea, holds a photo of a tuna caught near the islands, during a press conference in Tokyo on July 20, 2012. He said the family intends to sell the islands to the Tokyo metropolitan government, despite the central government's desire to acquire and nationalize the islands, administered by Japan but claimed by China and Taiwan.
