Event to promote seaberry

ASAHIKAWA, Japan - Mongolian yokozuna sumo wrestler Hakuho (L) takes part in the planting of a seaberry plant seedling on the campus of Takushoku University Hokkaido Junior College in Fukagawa, Hokkaido, on Oct. 18, 2012, in a ceremony to commemorate the start of a research program on how to mass produce the fruit in Japan. The fruit is common in central and northern Eurasia including Mongolia.
