JAL posts record-high group profits in 1st half of FY 2012

TOKYO, Japan - Japan Airlines Co. President Yoshiharu Ueki speaks during a press conference in Tokyo on Nov. 2, 2012. The airline said it posted a record-high group net profit of 99.72 billion yen for the April to September period, up 2.4 percent from the previous year, due to increases in the number of customers both on international and domestic flights.
