Restart of Tsuruga plant appears difficult
TOKYO, Japan - Nuclear expert Kunihiko Shimazaki holds a press conference in Tokyo on Dec. 10, 2012. A team of experts, led by Shimazaki, under Japan's nuclear regulatory authority agreed the same day that a fault running underneath a nuclear reactor at Japan Atomic Power Co.'s Tsuruga plant is likely to be active, an assessment that makes the plant's resumption difficult.
