BOJ to conclude review on inflation goal in Jan.

TOKYO, Japan - Bank of Japan Governor Masaaki Shirakawa ends a press conference at the BOJ's head office in Tokyo on Dec. 20, 2012. The BOJ decided the same day to further ease its monetary policy and said it aims to conclude a review of its inflation goal at its next policy meeting in January 2013, as demanded by presumptive Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, who has proposed setting an inflation target of 2 percent.
