Japan judo chief announces Aug. resignation
TOKYO, Japan - (From L) All Japan Judo Federation Chairman Haruki Uemura, Vice Chairmen Hiroaki Fujita and senior director Koshi Onozawa bow prior to leaving at the end of a press conference at Kodokan hall in Tokyo on July 30, 2013. Uemura announced during an extraordinary board meeting earlier the same day that he will resign in August over physical abuse by coaches and the misuse of funds. Fujita and Onozawa will also step down.
