Abe to announce sales tax hike
TOKYO, Japan - Prime Minister Shinzo Abe arrives at his office in Tokyo on Oct. 1, 2013. Abe is expected to announce later in the day that the government will raise Japan's consumption tax in April 2014 as planned.
