MSDF vessel sinks fishing boat

TOKYO, Japan - Defense Minister Itsunori Onodera holds a press conference at the ministry in Tokyo on Jan. 15, 2014, on the collision between the Osumi, a transport vessel of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force, and a leisure fishing boat in the Seto Inland Sea off Otake, Hiroshima Prefecture that occurred earlier that day. The boat capsized and sank after colliding with the MSDF vessel, leaving two of the four on board in critical condition, the ministry and the Japan Coast Guard said.
