Tanaka to leave for New York on Feb. 9 for playing in MLB

SENDAI, Japan - Masahiro Tanaka, who will play for the New York Yankees, speaks to reporters at an indoor training field in Sendai after his practice on Feb. 8, a day before he leaves for New York. Tanaka will hold a press conference at Yankee Stadium in New York on Feb. 11 and join the team's spring camp in Tampa, Florida, on Feb. 15.
