Cherry blossoms at Imperial Palace
TOKYO, Japan - Photo taken from a Kyodo News helicopter on April 4, 2014, shows a promenade flanked by cherry trees at the Imperial Palace in Tokyo. The Inui promenade was opened to the public for the first time the same day, in commemoration of Emperor Akihito's 80th birthday last December, in time for viewing cherry blossoms in full bloom. The Inui Gate (front) and the Sakashita Gate (top, C) can be seen.
