Panasonic's HIT solar cell has best conversion efficiency
OSAKA, Japan - Panasonic Corp. shows its HIT solar cell, which has recorded the world's highest conversion efficiency, in Osaka, western Japan, on April 10, 2014. The solar cell has a conversion efficiency of 25.6 percent, surpassing the 25.0 percent recorded in 1999 by the University of New South Wales in Australia.
