India uses education as tool to dismantle caste system

PATNA, India - Senior high school students study at a boarding school in Patna, the capital of Bihar state, eastern India, on May 5, 2014. The boarding school admits only those belonging to the lowest rank of the caste system as part of efforts by India to use education to help dismantle the elaborately stratified social hierarchy.
