State ordered to pay penalty if Isahaya Bay dike is opened
NAGASAKI, Japan - In front of the court building, farmers and supporters welcome the Nagasaki District Court's ruling on June 4, 2014, ordering the state to start paying a penalty to farmers if it opens the floodgates of the Isahaya Bay dike. The ruling put the state in a dilemma as it will have to pay a penalty however it acts over the sluice gates.
