NAGOYA, Japan - Takanori Miyoshi, associate professor of control engineering at Toyohashi University of Technology, demonstrates a hand shake with a newly developed device capable of imitating a hand-shaking movement of another device by transmitting data through the Internet, in Toyohashi, Aichi Prefecture, central Japan, on July 2, 2014. The device is applicable to other hand movements such as arm wrestling and communication between people visually impaired or hard of hearing.
