Opening of Shin-Tomei Expressway stretch to be delayed

NAGOYA, Japan - Yoshihito Miyaike, president of Central Nippon Expressway Co., meets the press in Toyota in the central Japan prefecture of Aichi on July 23, 2014, to announce a one-year delay to early 2015 in the completion of a 55-km stretch of the Shin-Tomei Expressway connecting the Hamamatsu Inasa junction in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka Prefecture, and the Toyota Higashi junction in Toyota due to difficulties such as landslides.
