Disaster survivor expresses gratitude through calligraphy
MORIOKA, Japan - Shuetsu Kubo, who has weak eyesight, shows a sample of his calligraphy in Kamaishi, Iwate Prefecture, northeastern Japan, on Aug. 26, 2014. Kubo started expressing gratitude for his family through calligraphy after losing his younger brother in the 2011 earthquake and tsunami disaster.
