Chair with built-in pulse sensor developed
TOKYO, Japan - A chair with a built-in pulse sensor is shown to the press in Tokyo Sept. 8, 2014. Developed jointly by researchers at the University of Tokyo and Hiroshima University, the chair can measure heart beat and pulse rates via the chair's backrest even through clothing.
