Demolition of reactor building cover starts

TOKYO, Japan - Photo taken from a Kyodo News helicopter shows operations under way on Oct. 22, 2014, to make a hole in the ceiling of the cover of the No. 1 reactor building of the crippled Fukushima Daiichi complex in northeastern Japan. Tokyo Electric Power Co. started the same day dismantling the cover, which was installed to prevent the dispersal of radioactive materials.
