VLADIVOSTOK, Russia - Kiyohiro Houkin (L), director of Hokkaido University Hospital in Japan's northernmost main island, and Oleg Pak, the head of the medical center of Far Eastern Federal University in Vladivostok, agree on an alliance in the fields of medical science and health-care technologies in the Russian Far East city on Oct. 23, 2014.
